My trip to Polyvore Live!

I am still coming off the high of my trip to Polyvore Live.  It was absolutely incredible.  The people at Polyvore were so gracious and spoiled the community members rotten.  Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip.  And, if you have not seen the fashion show yet, click here to see the show!
View from the 18th floor Bar.

Bath. Bed. View.  My room at the Standard Hotel.
Makeup by CoverGirl.
Hair and nails by Blow. (Rebecca Budig had just left this very seat!)
Beauitful Polyvore ladies: PaintHead, GreenlimeDesign, LSamSam and MyChanel.

Backstage at La Venue.  Dana Maxx doing some last minute magic.
Bloggers/Models getting hair and makeup for the show.
Dana -Maxx Pomerantz was incredibly sweet and put up with many photo requests...mostly from me.
Sergio Guadarrama, Dana-Maxx Pomerantz, Vengsarkar Budhu and Lauren Bagliore.
Polyvore Live contest winners: LaynaElyse, Me, Kimberlee123.
And if the trip was not enough....presents.  I love presents. :)

Hello Lisa -

My name is Bob Massey and I'm a casting coordinator for Project Runway. Sorry to resort to using your comment section but I couldn't find an email address. Since you're so clearly invested in fashion design, I'd love to hear which local, lesser-known designers you feel deserve a higher profile. Would you recommend a few favorites?

Also, I'd love it if you could help spread the word that we want designers to apply. However you interact with other fashionistas--through blogs, Tweets, Facebook, or just word-of-mouth--we appreciate all your help as we seek out the most talented emerging designers.

Here's a little blurb for the designers in your world: Project Runway is now casting; do you have what it takes to be the next top fashion designer? Do you want a chance to show your fashion designs during New York Fashion Week? Do you want to win $100,000 to launch your own fashion line? Project Runway is looking for the next great fashion designer.

The deadline to receive applications is March 15. Applicants can apply at or email us at Don't miss the chance of a lifetime. Apply today!

We need to have finished applications in our Los Angeles office by March 15, 2012, so we¹re grateful for any help you can give.

Please contact me with any questions, and thanks in advance.
